Remote Reiki (also known as Distance Reiki, hereinafter "Remote Reiki Application") is not a form of therapy or medical treatment and cannot in any way substitute for consultation, psychotherapy, analysis, healthcare, addiction treatment, or other professional services provided by individuals specifically trained to provide such services.

The determination of the need for and use of such services lies solely at the discretion and responsibility of the user (of the website) or their legal representatives, and the provision of the website does not imply any promise of cure or other success of any kind.

In particular, to the extent permitted by law, we disclaim our liability for the occurrence or non-occurrence of specific events, conditions, and/or developments in the lives of individual users (e.g., achievement of desired goals, personal progress, state of happiness, well-being, etc.).

Not Medical Treatment: The Remote Reiki Application does not replace medical diagnosis or treatment. For health concerns, please consult a licensed physician or healthcare provider.

§ 1 Scope of Application

(1) These Terms of Service (hereinafter "Terms") apply to all contracts for the use of the platform and the offered services between LifeZen, represented by Marcel Rebsamen (hereinafter "Provider") and the user (hereinafter "Customer").

(2) The version of these Terms valid at the time of contract conclusion shall apply.

(3) Deviating terms and conditions of the Customer will not be recognized unless the Provider expressly agrees to their validity in writing.

§ 2 Subject of the Contract

(1) The Provider offers an online platform that provides customers access to Remote Reiki applications (Distance Reiki services).

(2) The services include:

  • Access to the web-based Remote Reiki application
  • Storage of user account and usage data
  • Email support
  • Provision of credits

§ 3 Contract Formation and Registration

(1) Registration is completed by providing an email address. By registering, the Customer makes a binding offer to conclude a usage contract.

(2) The contract is formed when the Provider accepts the offer by sending a confirmation email.

(3) The Customer is obligated to provide truthful and complete information during registration and to update this information promptly if changes occur.

(4) The Customer may only create one user account. Sharing login credentials with third parties is not permitted.

§ 4 Credits

(1) Credits entitle the holder to one-time use of the Remote Reiki application. Each session uses 1 credit.

(2) New customers receive 2 free credits upon registration to test the application.

(3) Credits can be purchased in the following packages:

  • 5 credits for $12
  • 10 credits for $22
  • 30 credits for $50

(4) Credits are valid for 2 years from purchase/issuance and expire automatically thereafter.

(5) Credits cannot be exchanged for cash or transferred to other accounts.

(6) There is no daily limit for using credits. The Customer can conduct as many sessions as credits are available.

(7) Multiple credit packages can be purchased. Credits are automatically added to the existing balance.

§ 5 Prices and Payment

(1) The prices displayed on the website at the time of order shall apply.

(2) All prices are in US Dollars (USD) and include applicable taxes.

(3) Payment is processed through the payment service provider Stripe. Stripe's Terms of Service also apply.

(4) Payment for credits is a one-time payment. No recurring charges will be made.

§ 6 Cancellation and Refunds

(1) No Refund Policy: Due to the digital nature of our services, refunds are generally not provided for purchased credits.

(2) Exceptions: Refunds may be considered only in cases of:

  • Technical failures preventing service access for more than 7 consecutive days
  • Duplicate charges or billing errors
  • Service not delivered as described

(3) To request a refund under these exceptional circumstances, contact support@remote-reiki.net within 14 days of the charge.

§ 7 User Rights and Obligations

(1) The Customer receives a non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the platform for the duration of the contract.

(2) The Customer agrees to:

  • Use the platform only for private, non-commercial purposes
  • Not engage in abusive use
  • Not use automated access or bot systems
  • Not copy, modify, or redistribute content
  • Keep login credentials confidential

(3) In case of violation of these obligations, the Provider may suspend access and terminate the contract extraordinarily.

§ 8 Availability and Technical Disruptions

(1) The Provider strives for the highest possible availability of the platform but does not guarantee uninterrupted accessibility.

(2) Maintenance work may lead to temporary interruptions. The Provider will announce planned maintenance when possible.

(3) In case of technical disruptions, the Customer has no claim to refund unless the disruption lasts longer than 7 days.

§ 9 Liability and Limitation of Liability

(1) No Health Claims: The Provider makes no guarantee or assurance about specific results, healings, or improvements through the use of the Remote Reiki Application.

(2) Personal Responsibility: The Customer uses the application at their own risk. The Provider is not liable for damages arising from improper use.

(3) Limitation of Liability: The Provider is not liable for:

  • Achievement or non-achievement of personal goals
  • Changes in physical or mental well-being
  • Indirect damages or consequential damages
  • Lost profits
  • Data loss

(4) Exceptions: Nothing in these Terms shall limit liability for:

  • Death or personal injury caused by negligence
  • Fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation
  • Any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law

(5) To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claims arising from these Terms or the use of our services shall not exceed the amount paid by you in the 12 months preceding the claim.

§ 10 Privacy Policy

The Provider processes personal data in accordance with the Privacy Policy, which can be viewed at Privacy Policy.

§ 11 Modifications to Terms

(1) The Provider reserves the right to modify these Terms with effect for the future.

(2) Modifications will be communicated to the Customer by email. If the Customer does not object to the validity of the new Terms within 4 weeks of receiving the email, the modified Terms shall be deemed accepted.

(3) In case of objection, the Provider has the right to terminate the contract.

§ 12 Governing Law and Jurisdiction

(1) These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Germany.

(2) If the Customer is a merchant, legal entity under public law, or special fund under public law, the exclusive place of jurisdiction for all disputes arising from this contract shall be Bad Kreuznach, Germany.

§ 13 Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue to be valid and enforceable to the fullest extent permitted by law.
